We always remember those who taught us and mentored us well. I have had some teachers who have made such a memorable impact on my life that I think of them over a decade later. I want to be that kind of mentor and tutor to the individuals that I work with.I have a dual undergraduate degree from the University of New Haven. I studied forensic biology and premedical biology, and also obtained a minor in chemistry. I also worked as a teacher assistant while going to school. It was my job to create solutions and answer questions related to chemistry. While I love chemistry, I also love science and math as a whole, with my favorites being biology and physics. I find that my students really struggle with science and math subjects. I think that while some students struggle, these subjects are intuitive, so anyone can learn them with the proper help. I help the individuals that I work with by giving them the necessary tools to handle the subject matter at hand. I work with each student to understand his or her own unique set of challenges with learning and studying.When I'm not tutoring, I like to ride my bicycle, read, play video games, run, and enjoy marathons of TV shows and specials on Netflix.
