I'm a resident of Bethpage, New York and a graduate of New York University. While in school, I discovered a calling toward the study of Psychology. Originally, I had planned to work in a clinical setting as a psychologist. After graduating from my undergraduate program, I still wanted to help others, but my focus on how I was going to serve them had slightly detoured. Instead, I enrolled in a graduate level program in Occupational Therapy. Now, I am currently working toward my master's degree in that area of study. My goal is to use my base of learning in Psychology and interest by helping clients once I start my career as an Occupational Therapist. These skills can also be transferred to my work as a tutor, as well. During my high school years, I acted as a tutor for students at my own grade level, as well as those in younger grades. I found all my sessions to be very gratifying, since they helped fellow students to perform better. I learned about different learning styles and that I needed to vary my approach in order to be effective. I still use that strategy today. The subjects I tutor are Psychology, Summer Tutoring, Study Skills and Organization, Social Sciences, and more. When I'm not busy with school, I enjoy reading, cooking, running, and spending time outdoors.
